В сети появилась информация относительно того, что руководство Ирбитского мотоциклетного завода (сокращенно ИМЗ) запустило выпуск обновленной версии популярных тяжелых мотоциклов «Урал». После обновления мотоцикл будет оснащаться современной силовой установкой, которая соответствует одному из самых современных экологических классов «Евро-5». Стоит отметить, что эту информацию журналистам сообщил официально исполнительный директор компании Георгий Курмачев.
Кроме этого, Курмачев отметил, что вплоть до 2017 года тяжелый мотоцикл «Урал» оснащался уже устаревшим силовым агрегатом, который соответствовал экологическому классу «Евро-4». Для того, чтобы преобразовать двигатель, руководству предприятия пришлось поработать над линией производства, закупить новое оборудование и повысить квалификацию имеющегося персонала.
Также официальные представители бренда во время беседы с журналистами отметили, что новый и современный силовой агрегат является собственной разработкой компании. На создание этого движка у инженеров Ирбитского завода ушло около года. Во время работы они столкнулись с некоторыми трудностями, но поставленная задача все-таки была решена.
Стоит напомнить, что впервые мотоцикл «Урал» был выпущен в 60-х годах прошлого столетия. Модель выпускалась во множестве интерпретаций, а все версии можно было разделить на определенные группы. Часть мотоциклов относилось к «дорожным», часть — к спортивным, а остальные — к ограниченным сериям и спецтехнике.
За все время существования, данный тяжелый мотоцикл зарекомендовал себя только с положительной стороны. Это надежная конструкция, неплохие технические характеристики и простота в обслуживании. На данный момент на модель устанавливается скромный силовой агрегат объемом 0,75 литра с отдачей в 41 л.с. Стоит отметить, что после доработок силового агрегата его технические показатели останутся на прежнем уровне. Перед инженерами компании не стояла задача сделать мотоцикл мощнее, так как существующий вариант ТС вполне устраивает потребителей.
Также нужно напомнить, что на данный момент ИМЗ — это единственное отечественное мотоциклетное предприятие, на котором налажен полный цикл выпуска. Ежегодно на его мощностях собирается 1 200 единиц техники. На данный момент тяжелый мотоцикл «Урал» практически потерял популярность среди наших соотечественников, однако, его активно покупают заграничные клиенты. Более 90 процентов выпущенных мотоциклов поставляются в Европу, Азию, Австралию, Африку, Америку.
